For a while now, I have wanted to expand the TMB world into the realm of TV news, and while we did it before with TheTVShowBlog.com, the format we went with just didn’t fly. Now I have a different approach to the idea that I am hoping works out better and we are going to give another shot to the idea of a site just like this one but talking about TV news instead of trying to focus on any one set of shows.
And we want to give the International Friends (that’s you) the chance to give it a Name with a contest!
TheMovieBlog.com was created way back before the blogsphere was even called that, and not surprisingly back then TheMovieBlog was an available domain. Now the more obvious domain names are all scooped up. Some by abandoned blogs, but most by domain squatters hoping to make a buck if someone wants the name bad enough.
So my first two choices that have been tattooed in my wee brain for the last while got scooped up, and now I am hoping for you to offer up some names for the spinoff site (that you know you will be checking out as often as this one!)

The selection process will be based on the judgement of one. Me. It will be completely based on appeal and a gutsy feeling of iluvitness. Impress me people!
The name I chose is being camped by a squatter, and I am not going to be held hostage. If I don’t find something that works for me, I might just go with the .ca version of the domain (not being squatted on) so I wont mention it here.
The “Winner” will get the pride and credit for being the one who came up with the domain and I may find some movies or freebies that are sent my way as a little thank you prize.
