I like to see the difference in the International Posters of films to see just how some designer and marketer felt the film should be presented in other countries.
And while there seems to be some speculation buzz that this Hornet will suck, the Spanish Poster doesn’t try very hard to convince you otherwise.
Dear Zod this poster offends me on so many levels. First off, I forgot that Diaz was even in this movie. I don’t recall seeing her in the trailers and that suggests to me that she might be minor to the story. Furthermore, isn’t this the GREEN HORNET?? Why is the titular character and his sidekick tucked to the back?
Ok, I can see putting the Black Beauty on the foreground of the poster, but I just don’t get how Diaz is supposed to be sexy posed on a car that is very clearly illustrated as in motion, guns blazing?!!
This looks like a direct to video spoof of the film, and I hope for the filmmaker’s sake that this turns out to be some fanboy’s photoshopped attempt at a poster.
Just terrible.
