Katee Sackhoff has had a lot of success with the small screen, convincing us that even though Starbuck was a girl, she had more balls than Dirk Benedict in the role. And many other small screen roles after Battlestar ended have made her a geek icon and sex symbol.
But now Sackhoff will be making the leap to the big screen in Sexy Evil Genius.
Sackhoff will play the lead in this dark comedy directed by Shawn Piller, the executive producer of ABC Family’s Greek.
The story is about “a group of strangers brought together in a downtown Los Angeles bar by their mutual ex-girlfriend (Sackhoff). The woman is mysterious about her intentions, but by the night’s end, revenge will be had, romance made and the wronged woman will have delivered on her reputation as the sexy evil genius at the center of all their lives”
Now the plot itself doesn’t have me hooked but anything with Katee Sackhoff in it with a title like Sexy Evil Genius doesn’t sound like its delivering Shawshank either.
Sackhoff is an enigma, and I can’t help but be attracted to her for her fierce confident presence. And even though she looks like she could kick your ass (why is this girl not in more action flicks??) I still find her just oozing with sex appeal.
I have a surface interest in this just because of that.
