Producer Brad Fuller (“A Nightmare on Elm Street”) tweeted an interesting note about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action reboot over the weekend.
Tmnt is coming along. We are working on the script and I hope to have many more details for you in 4 to 6 weeks.
I’m a Ninja Turtle fan, going back to the old B&W comics. I think a really great TMNT film with fantastic effects and a true to the subject matter, dark script would do amazing at the box office. As always, the attempt to keep it accessible to children is a fear of mine, as it tends to muddy the material with the Turtles. I can’t say seeing it in the hands of a mediocre horror film producer gives me hope. Cowabunga?
