Why We Fight Trailer

Why We FightThe Why We Fight trailer is on the web… and it’s really something you need to see. Why we Fight is a look at the American military machine and it’s unhealthy relationship with industrial corporations… and the HUGE money that flows between the two.

Now, before you make the same mistake that I did and assume that this is some left wing propaganda, you should see the trailer. It’s actually a bipartisan piece of work and the film features (among others) republican senator John McCain, who gives the most memorable quote in the trailer that goes something like this: “When does the United States go from a force for good, to a force of Imperialism?”

The synopsis of the documentary goes something like this:

…an unflinching look at the anatomy of the American war machine, weaving unforgettable personal stories with commentary by a “who’s who” of military and beltway insiders. Featuring John McCain, Gore Vidal, William Kristol, Chalmers Johnson, Richard Perle and others, “Why We Fight” launches a bipartisan inquiry into the workings of the military industrial complex and the rise of the American Empire.

I personally can’t wait to see this one. You can see the Why We Fight trailer here.
