We live in a world where the computer geeks and nerds in highschool are the ones now running the corporations while those popular good looking celebrity status jocks are now pumping your gas.
It is fitting that mainstream media would recognize this. A Revenge of the Nerds remake just wouldn’t work the same with Geek being Chic, but there is room for a Revenge of the Jocks!
Jeff Tremaine, the “director” behind Jackass (I use that term lightly) is working on a film for Warner Brothers that would be the a twist on Revenge of the Nerds.
The new movie revolves around three men who were once popular high school jocks. Now, with their glory days behind them, they find themselves forced to adapt to a world run by the geeks and nerds, who have been unleashing torment on them.
Making the Geeks into the villains might seem harsh, but entirely believable as they would be pushed to react like this after years of torment and then achieving success that the jocks promised them would never happen.
It’s still the Jock’s fault. I hope they make the Jocks wear Ed Hardy so we can clearly tell which of them are douches.
