Okay, well they have Bond, but no villain or leading lady, and yet they’re off filming in Prague right now.
From the BBC:
The film, starring new 007 Daniel Craig, started shooting in the Czech capital last week.
But trade paper Hollywood Reporter said scenes involving Bond’s love interest would not begin for more than a month.
Casino Royale writer Paul Haggis told the paper: “They’re talking to three to four girls right now.”
He added: “Every week I read there’s a new Bond girl, and I call them and they say, ‘No, you idiot’.”
Quite Mr Haggis. I’ve been staying away from all talk of it because…well, actually because I was taking a holiday, but looking at the Bond rumours that went on you know fine well where all the leading lady rumours are going.
Director Martin Campbell said …that the leading female star would have the “best Bond girl part” ever.
Really…I think the jury is out on that one. With a month worth of filming before the leading lady arrives, and possibly the same for a villain, this is probably the hardest part of making a movie where they have to shoot everything out of sequence and continuity.
