I think Ben Affleck is one of the most fascinating guys in Hollywood at the moment. His performances in film as an actor are IMO typically the stuff of fodder, with few exceptions, unless he’s directing. Currently he needs to make a decision as this role could be one of those few exceptions.

Man, that’s a tough decision. Leonardo DiCaprio is a hot commodity and being involved in a film with him has few detriments and In addition to that the role actually sounds pretty well suited for him.
