This one is awesome… if it’s true. But take this with a grain of salt, because I’ve only read this on one site… and it didn’t quote any online source, so I’m suspicious, but I thought I’d tell you about it anyway.
The good folks over at FIlmstew are reporting that Sean Connery is going to be making an appearance in the new James Bond film “Casino Royale“. Here’s what they have to say:
It looks like Sean Connery is back in the Bond mix – as a coward? According to a report in The Irish Examiner, the former James Bond is set to make a not-so-heroic cameo appearance in Casino Royale, which stars Daniel Craig as the new 007.
The article really doesn’t give much more information than that. I hope this is true. I’ve always thought that putting Sean Connery back in the Bond mix in another role (The new “Q” perhaps) would be fantastic, but never thought he’d actually do it in a million years.
I’ll keep my eyes open for other news about this and let you know what I find.
