Power And Glory Movie

Power And Glory MovieI know what most of you are thinking right about now. “There aren’t enough Superhero movies out there!”. Yeah, I’m sure that’s exactly what you’re thinking. So the benevolent folks over at New Line have heard your pleas and are delivering unto you another Superhero movie. Power and Glory!

What is Power and Glory you may ask? The good folks over as Cinescape give us the following:

New Line has picked up the rights to the graphic novel POWER AND GLORY by Howard Chaykin. The story revolves around a crime fighter who’s genetically engineered to be a superhero but fears using his powers and needs to be teamed with a former CIA agent.

I’ve never read Power and Glory so I can’t really comment on its worthiness for adaptation to the screen. However, with all of the other Superhero films out there, and all the other ones in development already (don’t get me wrong, I love Comic book movies), it just seems a little unnecessary, and it gives the appearance of New Line just hopping on the bandwagon instead of developing a truly good project. But who knows right?
