Grind House Dead?

Grind HouseIt looks like the Robert Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino horror flick Grind House may be dead. The word on the street right now is that Rodriguez has walked away from his segment and there is no word if production will continue or not.

The good folks over at Filmrot give us this:

It appears that we may be waiting for while to see WeinsteinCo’s double feature Grind House since it has been reported on Bloody Disgusting that Rodriguez’s section of the film, Project Terror has shut up shop. There has been no word on whether Tarantino’s section “Death Proof” has suffered the same fate or whether it is still going ahead as a single film (c’mon, it doesn’t even work as it is – James). There has been no official word as to why Rodriguez has decided to call it a day with the project but expect an official statement in the coming weeks.

Man, if this is true then thats too bad. Each director was to direct a 60 minute mini horror flick and then put them together for one film. I was excited about this one… but I guess Sin City 2 takes priority.
