Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four 2

Silver-Surfer in Fantastic Four 2Seems like the previous rumours of Silver Surfer appearing in the next Fantastic Four film are getting more and more solid. This is good news since the Silver Surfer is not only cool as hell… but also one of the more complex characters in the Marvel Universe with a lot of personal struggle and inner conflict.

The good folks over at Cinescape give us the following:

News has it that Marvel’s Silver Surfer will play a large role in Fantastic Four 2, slated for a July 4, 2007 release.

20th Century Fox is currently deciding between scripts by Mark Frost (X-Men 2) and Don Payne (My Super-Ex Girlfriend). Payne’s script appears to be the front runner and includes the Silver Surfer. Production for Fantastic Four 2 is set to begin on August 1, 2006

Ummm… let me get this straight. Filming for Fantastic Four 2 is set to begin in less than 3 months… and they haven’t finalized the script yet? Oh man… this does not bode well at all. Prepare for another disaster.
