Captain Copyright Caught Copying!

Oh man this is just too funny. Remember the other day I posted a story about a new character the entertainment industry was going to start using as a propaganda and indoctrination machine for kids called “Captain Copyright” (see the original post here). Well XPGEEK just sent me this hilarious little story pointing out that that good Captain is himself in violation of copyright laws! Here’s the story:

We mentioned the entertainment industry was using Captain Copyright to educate kids about piracy and downloading in the classroom, but apparently the campaign has been going through some difficulties. Internet users have not only noticed that the website lifted certain content from Wikipedia, but that there was already a Captain Copyright in Singapore. Techdirt notes that the outfit behind the campaign has been changing content on their website on the fly as they come under criticism.

Oh too funny. This is like catching Commander Celibacy humping the high school cheerleader team.
