Get ready all you Viking god fans out there. Avi Arad has confirmed that a Thor Movie is indeed in the works. The folks over at iFMagazine recently had an interview with Arad and asked him the following question:
“There is a Thor film in the works as well?”
To which Arad replied:
“Yes, we’re in the scripting stage right now”
Lots of potential with this character… as long as they keep it on Earth and don’t get into “other-worldly” stuff. Sort of the same reason X-Men never gets into space or time travel stuff… it totally breaks the mood and feel for the comic movies today. Well, that’s just my opinion, I’m sure there are others who would disagree.
