About a year ago in an interview with Comics Continium David Goyer (Writer of Batman Begins) was asked “Is it true you’re also going to tackle Thor?” and responded ” No. I don’t have time right now. There’s no way. ”
The very blunt answered has turned about face as Marvel’s J. Michael Straczynski announced that Goyer was writing a treament for the Thor script which was previously attached to “Posiedon”‘s Mark Protosevich, according to Dark Horizons. No word yet on how much of Protosevich’s script Goyer will be borrowing from.

I am excited about Goyer who has shown his strength with Batman Begins and did a mediocre job with the Blade Trilogy. He is also writing the screenplay for Captain America and The Flash. (via)
