Is there a more underrated actress working today than Hillary Swank? Come on, seriously. What other 2 time Best Actress winner gets less attention or talk than her? Personally I love watching her work.
Ricardo alerted me to the new The Reaping trailer that just hit the web. Here’s a synopsis:
Hilary Swank plays a former Christian missionary who lost her faith after her family was tragically killed, and has since become a world-renowned expert in disproving religious phenomena. But when she investigates a small Louisiana town that is suffering from what appear to be the Biblical plagues, she realizes that science cannot explain what is happening and she must regain her faith to combat dark forces threatening the community.
At the centre of it all appears to be a little girl… A creepy looking one too (a device starting to get a little old… but still seems to work from time to time).
The Reaping trailer is a good one. It gives us the idea of the film, without giving anything away per se. Swank looks strong, and there are a couple of really good moments in it too. To take a look at The Reaping trailer you can just go here.
