Is it just me, or has the Internet community have been hearing about a possible sequel to the hit, ‘The Italian Job’ for YEARS now? (We have probably heard about the possibility of the sequel just as much as we heard of a possibility of ‘Scream 4.’)
Mark Wahlberg talked to ComingSoon.net about the status of ‘The Brazilian Job’ and the possible sequel to ‘The Departed.’
ComingSoon.net gives us this quote:
I don’t know what’s happening with “The Brazilian Job.” They keep talking about it, we’ll see. We want to make it if we can make it better than the first one. And that goes for any other sequel that they’re talking about, that or “The Departed” or anything else. You don’t want to just do it. There are plenty of other ways to make a paycheck. I want to do that some justice if possible.
Well good news and bad news. I guess we won’t see either sequel in theatres anytime soon, but if we do in the future, they are probably going to be kick-ass. I respect Mark Wahlberg for jumping on the projects without knowing if the films are going to be as good as their predecessors.
So what are your thoughts? Which sequel would you want to see more?
