The Worlds end is Edgar Wrights current project with regulars Nick Frost and Simon Pegg. We all know that and are anxiously awaiting the release of this film sometime in 2013, but the part that we may not have known is that The Hobbit’s own Martin Freeman will also be there when the end is near.
According to a press release, after getting some massive exposure with The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Bilbo Baggins himself, Martin Freeman, will be reteaming with Wright after roles in both Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Also joining the gang is Eddie Marsan, who was in Considine’s impressive directorial debut Tyrannosaur, but has yet to work with Wright.
Check out the poster:
20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.
