In my short life, I have never seen women so united by a single television show more than Sex and the City. I mean holy crap… you breasted people REALLY dig that show. I think I hit a string of 4 girls that I dated who ALL had the entire (or close to it) series on DVD. It is more than a TV show to that gender gentlemen… it is a religion. When they get around to putting this thing on the big screen, it will be like printing free money.
So why is there no movie yet? Why have they not started filming? Well… basically… a couple of the stars hate each others ever loving guts. It looked like the magic of greed had finally got them past that and agree to start shooting a movie… but ever since that announcement nothing has happened. Why has nothing happened? Well, our good friends at Latino Review report this:
Why? Kim Cattrall was unhappy that the script gave her less screen time than her co-star Sarah Jessica Parker. Oh please add the BOO to the HOO and go cry yourself to sleep on your huge pillow!!! If a catfight is coming please invite me so I can tape it on my camera-phone and post it on YouTube. The show was only about Parker’s character Carrie Bradshaw. Sure it revolved around her and her three friends but to stall the movie because there’s not equal screentime?
Never ever ever ever underestimate pride and ego ladies and gentlemen. They can make the smartest people in the world do the stupidest shit you can possibly imagine. If this report is true, then it’s really sad that paid professionals can’t get over it… and yet it’s not surprising because we’re all human after all.
And for all you guys who couldn’t care less about a Sex and the City movie… consider this. You want a “get laid instantly” card? When this movie comes out, take the initiative, approach the woman you’d like to become intimately familiar with and say “you know what, I’d love to take you to the Sex and the City movie tonight”. Nothing else will be required. Not only will you be the best man in the world to her… but word will spread among her friends like wild fire. You are now, “The sensitive, considerate guy”… who will also get lots of action. :P
