3:10 To Yuma Sneak Peak

Yuma-SmallerProbably my most anticipated movie of the late summer is coming a little bit early. 3:10 To Yuma is set to be released on September 7th, but we’ve just got word that they are opening up in theaters just a little early to give us an advanced taste. The film will be in theaters on Sunday September 2nd for just one day, and then open again on September 7th as planned.

That really makes this upcoming weekend an interesting one since there are already 3 other movies opening this coming weekend that I’m wanting to see. Balls of Fury (which will be bad, but I’m hoping with also have some good laughs), The Nines, and most of all Death Sentence (oh man that movie is going to rule). Now on top of that, we’ve got 3:10 To Yuma on Sunday as well. It’s going to be a busy weekend.

Part of my excitement is that to me… this is HEAT all over again. Crowe and Bale in the same movie is something I don’t think a lot of people appreciate as much as they will say 10 years from now. Crowe is the single best actor of our generation bar none… so add Bale and the director from Walk The Line and you’ve got something to look forward to! I can’t wait for Sunday!
