Michael Bay… Love him or hate him, he is about to join a very elite club. His is about to become the 13th director whose library of films as grossed over 1 BILLION dollars in the US.

Personally, i don’t HATE Bay the way some seem to. He has made his share of crap… (Pearl Harbor was ass, Bad Boys 2 was garbage, and The Island fell flat…), BUT he has also put out some winners (The Rock rocks and Transformers was pretty damn sweet IMHO…). Not to mention he has a few films that aren’t the greatest ever, but semi-guilty pleasure like Armageddon and Bad Boys. So while i will never (yet) call him a GREAT director, he is almost always a FUN director.

So, he will join true greats like Spielberg, Howard, Eastwood, and Cameron in the Billionaires club. Thoughts anyone?
