Word has been floating around the web that our first look at a “The Dark Knight” (the sequel to Batman Begins) will be in the form of a teaser trailer to show in front of the new Simpsons movie on July 27th. As if I wasn’t going to see Simpsons twice on opening weekend anyway!
I’m going to guess we’re not going to see much in the teaser at all… and that’s understandable considering we’re still a full year away from it being released in theaters. I’m thinking a moving camera shot over an extreme close up of the Bat symbol… wither perhaps a joker laughing sound near the end of it… then just words “Coming Summer 2008”. They MIGHT show us some actual footage, but I doubt it… it’s still VERY early.
I know a lot of you were going to hit The Simpsons anyway… but now I bet you’re going to make damn sure you’re there in time for the trailers!
