The TV slut gods are kicking down the cinema doors with their Jimmy Choo’s. It looks like the cast of Sex and the City have all signed on to make a movie together. We get the scoop from moviesonline:
The main characters from the TV show Sex and the City have signed on to their roles in the upcoming movie according to internet reports clearing the way for a movie. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon have all signed on for Sex And The City the movie and it will begin shooting this Autumn.
I know that this show was wildly popular and is doing well in the DVD market. I have a hunch this film will do very well in theatres and may even have a “Dirty Dancing” appeal where people go to see the film an insane amount of times.
What I am curious about is if this will be a one shot, or if it has sequel potential as well. If the gals enjoy the film experience, and if boatloads of money are made I certainly think this is possible. I just wonder how the dynamic will change from the small screen to celluloid.
