A quick news blurb today reveals that the new Batman series will have at least 3 films. We get the scoop from out friends at JoBlo:
Christian Bale has told The Star Ledger that he believes THE DARK KNIGHT hints at the possibility of another flick:“The script leaves room for a very interesting follow-up, too… I think we could take it somewhere else.”
This is a very brief quote and I do not think we should read too much into it. I do not consider this much of a shock though. It was to be expected, and I think this series may go to at least 5 films personally. I am a fan of Bale, think he is a marvelous Batman, and look forward to seeing him in the suit as much as possible.
I just wonder how many films Bale will do before he ditches the suit?
