We have rumours, glorious unconfirmed rumours about Indy 4 casting! Moriarty from AICN received a letter indicating that Jim Broadbent is going to have a role in Indy 4. Below is the letter that was received by Moriarty via AICN:
Hi Moriarty,
You don’t know me, but I thought I would drop you a line to tell you that I heard Jim Broadbent confirm that he is in Indiana Jones IV. He is essentially playing the Denholm Elliott part – not actually Marcus Brody – but the same kind of character in the story.
I haven’t seen this up on the site – but seems pretty brilliant casting to me.

That is all the information we have at this point folks. I know nothing of this Irving charachter so we will wait and see if this news is in fact true. I think most of us hope it is true, Broadbent is a seasoned, decorated and versitile thespian that would be a triumphant addition to any cast.
