From the mouth of Bruce we get news of another immortal franchise. The scoop is brought to us from the movieweb:
While interviewing Bruce Willis in the park for Live Free or Die Hard, the actor was asked if this was going to be the last one. Surprisingly, his answer was, “No.”
Willis said to the crowd, “No, I don’t think so. Fox is already talking about doing another one. I told them I would only do it if Len (Wiseman) was involved. And Maggie Q.” Willis then looked down at Justin Long, who was hanging his head at this point, “Oh, yeah…And Justin of course. We couldn’t do it without Justin.”
Terrorists beware, John McLean is not going to retire anytime soon. The Die Hard series has been solid, the first is my favorite by far, but all of them are chock full of great scenes. From what I have seen from the trailers, Die Hard 4 looks like it may be badass as well.
Bruce Willis is a guy that seems to be proud of the series and wants to keep it this way. His insistance on working with Wiseman would lead me to believe that they had a great chemistry together, and Willis wants to keep that magic alive. If Die Hard 4 ends up being fantastic, then keeping the same crew makes sense to me.
With Stallone and Willis making action comebacks, one can only wonder if the Governator will return to film.
