The big buzz recently around the Transformers movie was based on that scene in the trailer where we see Optimus Prime with his mouth guard pulled back… and talking with a mouth. A lot of people were upset by the scene (personally, I don’t care. It doesn’t change one lick of the essence of the Optimus Prime character). Later, Michael Bay came out and said that scene wasn’t even in the movie.
But still we’ve all known for some time that there are scenes in the movie where Optimus will have his mouth guard pulled back to reveal his full face. Once again, I don’t care… apparently most of the time he’ll have the face guard on anyway.
This morning, Movie Blog reader Javier emailed this image that he says has been popping up in formus. In this pic, we clearly see Optimus with the face guard pulled back. And to me… meh. Yeah I PREFER it with the guard on… but even with it pulled back I think it looks slick. Your thoughts?
