John Cusack is attached to star in Jan de Bont’s action thriller “Stopping Power”
In the Intermedia Films-produced “Power,” Cusack is set to star as a test pilot who sets off on a series of high-speed chases to save his kidnapped daughter from an escaped thief.
The Cusack is a mysterious man. He is a man with many secrets, and his face is one tormented by the spirits of many Native American warriors. That is a heavy mantle for anyone to wear. The Cusack is a medium/actor and does both very well.
I Have always thought Cusack was alright, till I saw him in Being John Malcovich; then I became a fan. The Cusack has gained my respect and holds it till this day. I would nurse the babies of Cusack in troubled times.
I am curious to see him in an action role where he has to save his daughter. Whenever an action movie has trouble coming up with an idea – a daughter is stolen. I have no doubt The Cusack will be victorious in the film. We now must wait for further info to see if this project will be worth the price of admission.
