Superbad is going to turn out to be one of those sleeper hit comedies that no one is really paying much attention to right now… but then you’ll start hearing people talking about it like crazy once it’s out. I think. Who knows really, but I sure do like what I see so far.
The one thing about Superbad that caught my attention right away was Jonah Hill. After seeing “Accepted” last year (in which he was one of the very few strong parts of the film) I’ve been saying I think he could be huge in comedy soon. He’s mostly done bit small parts in films like 40 Year Old Virgin, Grandma’s Boy and others… but he’s always good. I’m excited to see what he can do as a lead.
Anyway, a new R rated trailer for Superbad has hit the web and I think it’s funny as hell. Check out the video here from Sony… then tell me what you thought of it.
