Sandra Bullock in All About Steve

People often complain about an actor that is really good at one thing never breaking out of that role. I am often those kind of people. But some people I just really LIKE in a certain role, showing a certain side of themselves, and Sandra Bullock is one of those people to me.

JoBlo says:

Sandra Bullock is going to be in another romantic-comedy is pretty much in one ear and straight out of the other. She’s been cast as the lead in the upcoming film, ALL ABOUT STEVE, written by Kim Barker and to be directed by Phil Traill.

The film is about a woman (Bullock) who, after one date with a CNN camera-man decides he is her one true love. Due to said camera-man’s constant moving around on the job, the woman follows him around, popping up at media events in an effort to convince him he should be as insane as she is.

Now I often get a mixed feeling about Sandra. Many of them in my bathing suit area. I always found her attractive and quirky charming. The image that always comes to mind for me for her is the “reveal” shot of her butchy tough girl personal being dolled up into a knockout in heels and tight blue dress strutting in slow motion in Miss Congeniality. Totally hot. That is the perfect body as far as I am concerned.

But she SCREAMS romantic comedy to me. I expect nothing more out of little Sandra B. So to hear news about her in a romcom really doesn’t surprise me. I know she was great in Crash. Who wasnt. But this is her thing to me. I don’t mind if she strays every now and again, but I quite expect to see her come back to Romantic Comedies time and time again.

To see her as a crazy obsessed lunatic with a crush on crack? Yep. Sign me up.
