Exciting movie news today in the world of hilarity. It appears master of hilarity Ricky Gervais and commander of the ha-ha Greg Kinnear will be in a Ghost rip-off comedy named Ghost Town.

The story centers on a dentist who dies briefly during routine dental surgery and gains the ability to see dead people who ask him for help in contacting the living.
Even though I usually get a little pissed when people lift a premise from a Swayze film – I am excited to see what direction these guys take it.
Gervais as a medium for the dead just makes me split at the sides when I think about it. I can imagine him delivering tender messages to family members from loved ones beyond the gates of death. Gervais has the ability to make you feel incredibly awkward and yet pulls the laughs out of you as you mock the situation with your cackles.
Kinnear is a very funny fellow who made me piss my pants in the film What Planet Are You From; where he plays a co-worker of Gary Shandling. I am never disappointed to see him on the silver screen and can see him as a delightful partner to Gervais.
The only thing this movie is missing is a cameo from Whoopi.
