John Talks with First Snow Star William Fichtner

The other say I had the crazy pleasure of talking to William Fichtner about his new upcoming movie First Snow, which oddly enough I just put up a post about the trailer a couple of days ago. You may not recognize Fichtner’s name, but you will recognize his face. He’s one of the most prolific and recognizable character actors working in the business today… and on top of that it turns out he’s a great guy.

I talked to William about First Snow, but I’m including the stuff we talked about before we got around to First Snow… for no other reason than to give you guys an idea of how personable and nice this dude really is. I’ve done a bunch of phone interviews before, and usualy the Celebrity can’t wait to get the conversation over with and get off the phone… but William instantly started talking to me about Hockey (he’s a hockey fan… which means I’ll be a fan of his now for life), his trip to my home town of Hamilton (that’s how the conversation starts) to see a Pink Floyd concert when he was younger… and then more hockey. I was blown away by how nice this guy really is.

You can listen to the conversation here
