I’ve always had a lot of respect for Jim Carrey as a performer. Yes, he’s a great comedic actor, but I’ve always found him to be more than serviceable as a dramatic actor… although he’s been guilty of overdoing it a little in those roles.
So you can understand how interested I’ve been in seeing his new film “The Number 23“. This is a kind of role we’ve never seen him in before. I think the movie looks great, and I’m curious to see how well Carrey pulls it off.
