Aaron Eckhart Is Two Face

The list of names floating around as a possible candidate for “Two Face” in the upcoming Batman Begins sequel “The Dark Knight” has been long and wide. Names like Ryan Phillippe, Jake Gyllenhaal, Guy Pearce, Jamie Foxx and even Ethan Hawke have all been whispered at one time or another for the role (personally I think Pearce would have made an AMAZING Dent. Did you know Pearce was up for the role of Batman in Begins?).

Well, all that whispering can be put to bed now, as it appears Christopher Nolan has found his Harvey Dent (aka Two Face). Aaron Eckhart. We first talked about the fact that Eckhart was being looked at for the role a couple of weeks ago, and personally I love the casting here. Eckhart is first and foremost a solid actor who gives great performances even then the roles he’s handed suck. He’s got a strong screen presence, a good look and I think he’ll knock this role out of the park.

So now all that’s really up in the air is who will be female lead in the film be? Right now the cast looks something like this: Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Heath Ledger and now add Eckhart to that list. Not bad… not bad at all.

So what do you think… even is Eckhart wouldn’t have been your first choice to play Harvey Dent… are you happy with the casting?
