Hey there boys and girls … it has just been announced that Shaun of the Dead – the brilliant horror comedy from Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg – will get a wide release through the US and Canada on September 17th. Word is there will be a thousand prints in circulation so while it’s not on the blockbuster release scale it’s still very, very large so you should be able to see it pretty much anywhere. Fangoria is also reporting that the film will get its North American premiere at the Fantasia festival in Montreal on Friday, July 23rd.
