Gwyneth Paltrow Joins Iron Man

Gwyneth-Paltrow.jpgGwyneth Paltrow has a lot of people out there who don’t like her. For the life of me I’ve never understood why. The lady is a terrific actress (you may not like her films… but hey… she didn’t write them), beautiful and just kinda of quietly goes about her business of being a movie star. I like her.

So today’s new that she has officially joined the cast of Iron Man is a pleasant surprise to me. Paltrow (who will play Stark’s personal assistant Pepper Potts) joins Robert Downey Jr. and Terrence Howard in a cast that is looking better and better. As a matter of fact… it makes me nervous.

I’m kind of a fan of the idea of casting no-names. When a comic book film starts loading up on star power… I instantly start thinking of Batman and Robin. EEeewwwww… I just got shivers down my spine even thinking about it. So overall… I like the Paltrow casting news… but all the star power makes me nervous. What do you think of this news?
