New 300 Trailer In Front of Apocalypto

As if I wasn’t already super excited to see Apocalypto on Friday! Looks like my second most anticipated film of 2007 (first is Transformers) is showing it’s new full trailer in front of it. The brand new 300 trailer will be larger than life this week online and one the screen. Man I can’t wait.

The good folks over at Slash film give us this:

Yesterday we reported that a new movie trailer for 300 would be attached to Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto. Now Warner Bros has confirmed that the trailer will go online… On Friday. That’s right, we’re going to have to wait till Friday afternoon to see the new trailer. Zack Snyder’s big screen adaptation of the acclaimed Frank Miller graphic novel. 300 is the story of the 480 B.C. Battle of Thermopylae, where the King of Sparta led his army against the advancing Persians; the battle is said to have inspired all of Greece to band together against the Persians, and helped usher in the world’s first democracy.

I’ve loved every single frame and image I’ve seen from 300 so far. And the graphic novel by Frank Miller is (in my opinion) world’s better than Sin City (and I loved Sin City). The story is pure beauty, with rage, vengeance, love, loyalty, passion… man you name it and it’s in there. Friday can’t get here soon enough!

In case you’ve missed it, here’s the link to the first 300 trailer. It’s fricking amazing.
