Jarred sent me a link to this AMAZING little site put up by the folks at Industrial Light and Magic (or ILM). For those of you who don’t know, ILM isthe grandaddy of all Visual Effects companies… no other company comes close to these guys… they’re also responsible for all the VFX work on Pirates of the Caribbean 2.
Anyway, this site has a run down on a lot of the effects in the film… some great “is it real or CGI” quizzes, some before and after stuff and a few other things.
As I mentioned in an earlier post today… ILM will be taking home the Oscar this year for the work they did on this film. Go on over at take a peek.
