Die Hard 4 Villain Is Jeffrey Wright?

Jeffrey-Wright-Die-HardLooks like Die Hard 4 (I still refuse to call it by its ridiculous official name) has lined up it’s bad guy. And that bad guy appears to be Jeffrey Wright. This casting comes a little bit under the radar, but I think it’s a good choice. The good folks over at ComingSoon give us the following:

JewReview.net is reporting that Jeffrey Wright (upcoming Casino Royale, Syriana) has been cast as the villain in 20th Century Fox’s Live Free or Die Hard, currently filming in Baltimore.

The fourth film of the action franchise will feature John McClane (Bruce Willis) attempting to stop a techno-terrorist from shutting down the nation’s computer systems on the Fourth of July. The story takes place around Washington, D.C.

Wright has been a busy boy lately. If this is correct, then he’ll have no less that SEVEN films in production to be released in the next 2 years. Looks like he can afford to upgrade from that Sunfire he’s been driving… oh wait… that’s my Sunfire. Damn.

Die Hard Villains have become the stuff of movie legends. Allan Rickman in Die Hard may just be arguably the greatest movie villain of all time. Jeremy Irons in Die Hard 3 was amazing… and now Jeffrey Wright will have some BIG shoes to fill. Lets see how well he does.
