You casual Wolverine fans have no idea why us comic geeks are hyper excited about Hugh Jackman’s The Wolverine taking place in Japan. No F’n clue. Wolverine might be the best he is at what he does, but too few of you know that the Marvel’s most bankable mutant is also a Samurai. It’s true, and it seems Fox wants to exploit your oversight to generate interest for this film and this international poster focuses on that aspect of the story.
It took a double take for me to realize that the guy was holding a sword. It’s interesting, not entirely original, but hell it works. I want to see this. Man, I better review this before Ryan does…
