Summer 2007 Looks Amazing

The summer of 2007 is shaping up to be one hell of a time for or geek movie fans (like myself).  Honestly… I don’t know that I’ve seen a line up for POTENTIAL great films and blockbusters in one summer season before.

Movie Blog reader Terry sent me this list which kind of brings it all into focus.  Check it out:

May 4: Spider-Man 3

May 18: Shrek the Third

May 25: Pirates of The Caribbean: At World’s End

June 8: Ocean’s Thirteen

June 15: Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer

June 22: Evan Almighty

June 29th: Live Free or Die Hard

July 4: Transformers

July 13: Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix

July 27:  The Simpsons Movie

August 3: The Bourne Ultimatum

August 10: Rush Hour 3

Holy crap!  Ok, just for conversations sake, here are my top 5 that I’m looking forward to out of that list:

1) Transformers (obviously)
2) The Simpsons
3) Spider-Man 3
4) Pirates 3
5) Evan Almighty

But seriously… I think I’m looking forward to seeing all the films on that list (yes, even Harry Potter and Shrek).  It’s either going to be a VERY fun… or VERY disappointing summer.  I’m predicting FUN.
