Once in a while a little trailer will pop up and totally floor me. This is one of them. The Music Within trailer has popped up on the web, and I just can’t wait to see this thing. The synopsis reads like this: “The True Story Of Richard Pimentel, A Brilliant Public Speaker With A Troubled Past, Who Returns From Vietnam Severely Hearing-Impaired And Finds A New Purpose In His Landmark Efforts On The Behalf Of Americans With Disabilities”
The film stars Ron Livingston, who has turned into a solid solid actor… and yet will always be the dude from Office Space to me. Having said that, this is no comedy, but rather the story of a real person who made a real difference for the better in the world. Please tell me why anyone wants to make a movie about the life of Kurt Cobain when there are people like Richard Pientel out there who have made REAL impacts and done REAL good in the world whose stories should be told?
