Mirror Mask Interview And Still Shots

mirror.jpgY’know, being a big fan of Neil Gaiman’s writing I’m really not sure why I haven’t been following Mirror Mask an awful lot more than I have been, but a faithful reader just steered me to some still images that more than got my attention …

For those not in the know Mirror Mask is an upcoming, very low budget film written by Neil Gaiman and directed by Dave McKean, a duo hugely revered in the comic book world for their work on the Sandman books. Henson Studios are involved providing some animatronics and technical expertise on this and it looks as though all involved are capturing some incredible stuff on the screen … Check it out: Comic Book Resources has an extended interview, including several still shots, with one of the film’s executive producers here and a much larger and more detailed version of one of those screen captures appears on Gaiman’s own website here. Just scroll down to the August 6th entry. Thanks to Christopher for the link.
