Put Yourself On The Simpsons DVD Cover

Simpsons-Dvd-CoverI enjoyed The Simpsons movie (See my review here) but I wasn’t thrilled with it… and it certainly wasn’t worth waiting nearly 20 years for. Still, it was pretty entertaining for what it was and it gets full marks for that. However, you can’t deny that the marketing for the movie was pretty good.

Now, with the Simpsons DVD set to be released on December 10th, they’ve got another interesting little marketing ploy. On the website, you can create a Simpsons Avatar of yourself (yes yes… we’ve seen them before) and you can print out an alternate DVD cover for the film with YOU on the cover. It’s such a simple idea… yet very clever.
