Hmm … surprised the Japanese have beaten the Koreans getting a DVD edition of Taegukgi ready for market but here we go … the day after I post an article praising the Korean DVD market for producing lavishly packaged sets loaded up with extras I came across this information on the FIVE disc Japanese luxury edition of Brotherhood, as the film was known there:
The “5-Disc Premium Boxset” Japanese edition of Brotherhood is a Limited Edition, and includes the 2-disc Premium Edition, plus:

Japanese Dolby Digital 5.1
Life sized tapestries? Madness. Now this version doesn’t release until just before Christmas so it’s more than likely that the Korean editions will be announced and released before then – Korean release schedules are notoriously flexible and things are often not announced until the last minute to avoid confusion when the release dates get moved – but if you want the big ol’ Japanese set it’s available for pre-order here. There’s also a less expensive two disc Japanese edition available here.
