For those of you that are lonely on Christmas eve, you now have an opportunity to see a midnight screening of AVP-R and forget your sorrow! You will have to travel to LA and/or New York in order to do so, but the option is available. We get the scoop from cinematical;
20th Century Fox will be staging midnight screenings of AVP-R (aka Alien vs. Predator: Requiem) in New York and Los Angeles this Monday night (technically Tuesday) at 12:01am. And, even better, the first 100 people who show up will receive a special stocking stuffer — commemorative shirts emblazoned with “I Survived Midnight Mass-acre Christmas Eve 2007.”
There’ll be little peace – but much fan anticipation – at the two Midnight Mass-acre locations: Hollywood’s renowned Chinese Theatre and New York’s Regal Union Square Stadium 14.
So there you go folks, if you are chomping at the bit to see this picture you now have the opportunity to see it 12 hours before everyone else. I must admit, the t shirt idea is kickass and a lot of fun. If any of our readers go to this event and score one – make sure to send us a pic with you in it…and nothing else.
The trailer for this looks super violent and I have been holding out hope that it will be an enjoyable movie. Aliens VS Predators should never be anything less than awesome.
