Aardman Animation has announced the voice cast for Flushed Away, their new film about an upper class rat flushed into the sewers of London. According to the Hollywood Reporter Hugh Jackman will play Roddy, the upperclass rat, with Ian McKellan as an evil frog and the suddenly ubiquitous Andy Serkis as McKellan’s evil rat sidekick.
No Nick Park on this one, though word is that Park’s Wallace and Gromit feature is on track for a possible Christmas 2005 release and I also stumbled across a news item on Aardman’s site saying that Park was making a series of silent, black and white shorts revolving around Shaun the Sheep.
