The Bluray for Ant-Man seems to have snuck up on us. I have to admit that I enjoyed the movie a lot more than I anticipated especially with the comedy employed not just by Paul Rudd but by Michael Pena! This guy was a scene stealer more than once in the movie and deservingly steals the voice over responsibilities for the upcoming home release for Marvel’s biggest little guy in employ. I’m still not fully understanding why T.I. was in this movie. He was mildly funny and wasn’t a detraction for the film but when you add someone that recognizable in the film you almost expect them to do something more… which never happens. I’m not saying he deserved more screen time or anything rather I’m wondering why a non-musician or even a comedian wasn’t cast in this part instead. I could easily see a Tracey Morgan doing a lot more with what little was offered to T.I.
That gripe aside, I’m totally looking forward to this release.
