There’s a new trailer for the Killing Joke making the rounds that everyone is ignoring in favor of discussing the sex scene between Batman and Batgirl that’s in the movie. I’ll get to that in a second but in the mean time check out this pretty cool looking trailer:

So I’m sure some folks who aren’t all that interested in maintaining relationships or being faithful to the source material will wonder what’s the big deal about Batman and Batgirl hooking up while some, including me, are vomiting a little in their mouths at the very sight of this. The fact that decades of history has set theses two as having a bit of a father/daughter relationship will be lost on those who only watched the Adam West show in which a romance between Batman and Batgirl was often hinted.
At the end of the day this is incest to some of us and has left a worrisome blemish on what appeared to be a masterful adaptation.
