Now is as good a time as any for a new Brad Pitt movie, right? This new movie is continuing the trend of Pitt taking on more intimate films that have a hook with him working as an agent during World War II along with his spy/wife.
“ALLIED” is the story of intelligence officer Max Vatan (Pitt), who in 1942 North Africa encounters French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Cotillard) on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Reunited in London, their relationship is threatened by the extreme pressures of the war.
The movie seems intriguing! I can’t help but let my mind wander to his divorce with Angelina Jolie but this seems to be as good a Brad Pitt movie as any before. I’m somewhat indifferent toward the movie but that’s primarily due to the fact that my mind is elsewhere right now…
